Strategy
The opportunity for growth was informed by the insight that our audience were East Africans first, who were craving for authentic connections through stories that spoke to their world and at the same time elicited local inspiration. Maisha Magic Movies stuck to this truth and provided inspiration to the audience through the logline: OUR EAST AFRICAN’S STORIES. We deployed an integrated approach leveraging on Events, digital tactics (Videos, GiFs & static images) on all platforms that our audience frequent; Instagram and twitter with creative execution that triggered action

Maisha Magic Movies is a general entertainment movie channel that caters for the Ugandan, Kenyan and Tanzanian Market. It sits on DStv Channel 141 The agency was tasked to reposition the channel by providing its audience with new, exciting, fresh content suitable for all family viewing to be launched in Jan 2022 Drive eyeballs to the channel as well as retain its current viewers Grow the channel’s following on social media pages Low awareness
Results
The campaign has been received well and is currently running on the aforementioned platforms with increased engagement levels on their social platforms
